You Are My Sunshine

You are my sunshine,

The light of my life,

The guiding light to my soul,

The warmth to my heart. 

There is you,

And only you-

You bring me joy on days of darkness,

Shining through clouds,

So that my path is illuminated.

I am unsure if you will ever fully comprehend, the depths of what you mean to me-

How truly,  madly, deeply I love you.

I am lucky that you choose me,

And that I get to choose you,

Each and every day.

My Sun,

My Light,

My Love-

My love for you will burn for all eternity, with a passion that is unshakable. 

In every galaxy,

And in every lifetime.

Reflection

 How lovely it is,

To has spoken words of poetry to you-

In the flesh,

Over the years,

And now-

I am writing my vows to you-

My love,

There are so many words I've  said, so many I have yet to say,

And I fear a lifetime will simply not be enough - 

I love you endlessly -
