Mermaid Songs

Entirely Entitled to Everything
She saw,
She grabbed it all
In her hand.
She built a castle in the sand,
with the starfish and the moonlit jellies.
She crafted with her mind, and let her hands do the work
They pleasantly played - as the mermaids inquired.
They sang songs, enchanting and endearing.
The creatures of the sea, watched from afar,
Awaiting their death- as they yearned to be ashore.
They watched this girl, build her castle in the sand
They prayed and they tried to swim to the land.
Her hair was long, and wavy
and saltwater kissed.
The curls were swirled with golden hues, and strands of crimson.
She was kissed by the sunrise, and stood nice and tall,
The songs of the mermaids, inspired her to
Dance.
She danced barefoot, and naked, but covered in tan
Her body was free, she was one with her land
The earth hugged- and kissed her,
As mother and child.
She danced, and she sang, and even spun for a while
Her body moved in ways that the creatures hadn't seen,
She was a free spirit, joined by the land and the sea.
Her eyes captured love and lust from afar,
Mermaids fell in love and sang
She was beautiful; and demonic- Since she craved lust from them all.
She was stuck inside freedom, and demon at best.
She was a succubus by night, and an angel at day's rest.
She loved and she fed, off the desires of those,
Whom watched her dance naked, to the beat of her drum.
Soon, the sun rose, and she brushed herself off,
And laid in the warmth, with no worries at all.
Where night met day, and day grew fast
She became balanced, but she knew that it wouldn't long last.
By nightfall again, the creatures would creep,
And the succubus inside would be ready to feed.
