Build, Grow, Breathe

 As I rise with the sun,

Another day greets me,

With you by my side-

Baby birds singing,

A morning lullaby-

Summer heat fades,

And changing seasons slowly creep in. 

Wrap me in your arms, and never let me go-

Keep me warm as the chill of a new year approaches,

Pull me close as the days get shorter,

Let's count the stars as they light up the cool winter sky. 

And just as we voyage through the seasons each year,

I'm filled with anticipation to explore the seasons of life with you-

Now, fresh, bright and young-

Through the experienced, traveled, and old.

I want to sip on Moroccan tea,

Soak in the Mediterranean sea-

Sit high on Scandinavian Alps, overlooking Fjords and trees.

I want to star gaze in the dead of a desert night,

Soak up a North Coast beach-

Fall in love with you every single day,

As we build, and grow and breathe.
