Captivated by a brief moment,

Stoplight red,

Bodies buzzing from our spa date-

Talking,

Reminiscing-

Laughing and loving.

Mid sentence,

I stop,

I ask if you saw it,

You did- 

We are both in complete shock and awe,

What a perfect ending to a perfect day,

Honestly, a perfect few.

You surprised me,

Though my soul innately knew you were coming- 

And here,

But a surprise nonetheless.

A precious little bubble of joy,

We allowed ourselves to get immersed in- 

Shutting out the outside world for just a few days,

To get lost in, us.

I love all that we bring to the table,

The balance we give one another, 

And the safety and security we foster each and every moment-

When I saw that star shooting across the black night sky,

Bright and on a mission,
